Crude oil transportation business is the main and most important business of the Company since its establishment.
So far, PV Trans Pacific is the only supplier of all crude oil transportation which is imported from Bach Ho field and other oilfields in Vietnam to Dung Quat refinery with a capacity of 5.0-7.0 million tons per year. The number of voyages carried out since the Dung Quat Refinery was put into commercial operation to date is more than 700 voyages (equivalent to about 50 million tons), meeting promptly and absolutely safe for production needs of Dung Quat refinery. In addition, from April 2018, PVTrans Pacific officially started to transport crude oil for Nghi Son refinery by VLCC vessels from Kuwait to Nghi Son refinery with an average volume of about 270,000 tons per voyage.
